For sure if I took a shot of vcds I would be gracing their palm with silver, don't expect someone else to shell out big buck's then expect help for nothing....  Not that I'm saying tokens should always be involved but for things folk have paid a lot of money for and are willing to help..... Well you can't abuse that and use them, and ppl would... But me and my circle are not like that...  

 

When I looked on Ross-tech or wherever it was a full version of vcds was 699 dollars, that must have been the flagship one... So at some point I will get it or a really decent scan tool not the wee £25 thing I have..  Clutch first though! Although it has stopped slipping now, better safe than sorry.

 

 

I have an Scan tool which cost me about £80 which I no longer use due to VCDS.....If you want to have a look at it?

Mind and do the Monte register on the Mk2 owners section, you should find out about mapping etc.  Although someone here might no if CR engines are mappable etc.
