Hi. Im going to change the engine oil in my 98 1.3mpi lxi felicia pretty soon and was wondering if anyone knows of a good oil to use.

Good as these engines are, they are a relatively old fashioned low tech design, you don't need anything special. A good quality[not the £2.99 a gallon stuff!!] standard 15W/40 mineral or 10W/40 semi-synthetic will be just fine.

I love these old Skoda engines, at the moment I'm looking to buy a late Felicia estate, and I shall be buying one with a Skoda 1300 engine rather than the VW1600.
