Sunroof gone?

Featured Replies

I've been mulling over the idea of ditching my Polo for something smaller for weeks now. I'm considering a Citigo or a Mii as eithet would pobably do the job. Pre-reg or ex-demo would probably be my best choice but as I'm trying to work out what model has what options I've been playing with the Skoda "new car configurator" Maybe it's me but it looks like the option of a sunroof has been deleted as it eithet cannot be selected or is missing altogether from the option choices. I'm sure this is a recent change as I was playing about with it last weekend and they were there.

I just wonder if t's a case of the Citigo being due a mid-life face-lift and stock simply being run down. Or sunroof uptake is so low the've deleted it.

Sods law, because I fancy one with a sunroof it's just they are like finding unicorn-droppings anyway.

Is it me or are the "summer" new car deals a little on the thin side at Skoda? I was hoping to drop on something if I couldn't find a suitable nearly new car.

It's listed as “summer pack” in the configurator.

There's some (SE L five door being one) you can configure with the 'Summer Pack' which has a kind of panoramic roof.

Having a quick click through, it looks to only be available on SE and SE L models. May be worth asking the dealer if a custom order could be placed if you want it on a different model.

Thanks, it looks like it is model dependent. I may have been looking at the "colour" version which looks like a seasonal special edition which probably explains it. Cheers peeps. If I could magic up the dosh, SE L would probably be the model I would look at.

Well, I looked at getting a Colour edition initially, and the SE L was only £11 a month more expensive over 42 monthly payments, so it's probably easily justifiable if you're keen on getting the heated seats and electric mirrors. The electrically adjustable mirrors were the clincher for me, as my sister was planning on using it every now and then, and she's very, very short, so being able to adjust the passenger mirror without the presence of a passenger was important. The only catch is you have to pay extra for the entertainment pack and sunset glass on the SE L if you wanted them fitted.

I was happy to forgo the extra speakers and not very private privacy glass for the electric mirrors! Depends on your priorities I guess!

The entertainment pack has been redeveloped since my first Citigo and is very good now.

Apart from the extra speakers, what do you get in it?

It is just the extra speakers, possibly a slightly different had unit internally.

I was under the impression that the head unit was identical, even down to the plugs on the back. Basically, you could get a pair of speakers that would fit in the rear doors, plug them in and go!

Unless anything has changed recently, the standard setup is a 2 speaker system, the audio pack is a 6 speaker setup, 2hf units in the A pillars, 2 full range in the front doors and 2 in the rear. The PID also provides front / rear fade adjustment.

I doubt I'd notice the difference if I'm quite honest... I'm no audiophile, especially considering the fact I'm profoundly deaf and hear very little with my hearing aids.
