Felicia splitter

Featured Replies

Is there or has there ever been a splitter that fits a 1997 skoda Felicia black plastic front bumper

Otherwise I might try and chop about a mk3 golf vr6 splitter and see if that'll fit

I got a mk3 golf splitter on mine, i got some bad pictures here.

How did you get it to fit?

Just curious, are you hoping to get an aerodynamic improvement? Use it as a snow plow? Or is it just a cosmetic accessory? If the latter, you might as well tear the money and spread them on the road. Likewise the splitter will end up too.

When u buy the splitter u will see where u need to cut to make it fit :) I use screws to hold mine in place, then used filler over the screw heads, and then painted it black with stonechip paint.

I'm curious too: Have you never done anything to your car "just because you can"? Never put a body-kit on one, tinted any windows, changed the steelies for alloys, or even put a "I Love Skoda" sticker on the tailgate?

"Just because you can" is almost every time a waste of time and money. I don't have too much of both. Furthermore, I like to keep my car as original as I can. None of those accessories you've mentioned have a practical use or add value to my car. Felicia is not a rally car unless modified as such. To me Felicia is a small, reliable, economical car that gets you from point A to point B and it's fun to drive. I don't feel the need to show off with my car, hide my identity while driving, and I don't crave secretly to more expensive cars. In other words, I think that people adding useless accessories to their car feel insecure in their life. That is my opinion. I am sure you'll find enough reasons to disagree, isn't that your intention after all? But I'm not interested to convince anyone to share my opinion. Moreover, knowing your bad behaviour I don't even care.

Boy, whilst your childish attempt to provoke an argument is, again, laughable, it was a genuine question, and would have been asked of anyone who asked what you did. Your presumption, as usual, shows your lack of understanding about people and how to interact with them.

An opinion is exactly that, an opinion, it's not fact, so there's nothing to disagree with, no matter how much you want to. In my opinion, those who wish to leave everything as standard as possible, and make no improvement, whether functional or cosmetic, must lead incredibly dull and boring lives.............driving the same cars as everyone else, with no individuality, whilst listening to cassettes.

However, I tend to agree with you, to a degree, on certain changes, in that they add no monetary value to the car......very few modifications ever do, and that is well understood among those that do modify their vehicles.

I've just done the opposite on one of my cars and removed the splitter that a previous owner had installed, primarily because it's not to my taste. So it was removed "because I can" and because I thought it looked awful. I've also removed all the "performance" decals from the exterior and a load of crappy fake chrome trim from the interior. The previous owner did this because he could.

Best you not look elsewhere on this forum, there's a lot of amazing work done on some cars "because they could". The JPS Octavia is an excellent example, the Citigogo is another.

We all have our own taste like my self I drive round with a sticker that say I love my felicia and you may laugh but when a **** type old felicia out runs modern cars at lights and yes I do love it...

Many times i had the thought to install a front bumper splitter, not a whole bumper (we call it ''Lip" here) but i hesitate because many times when you are trying to enter a repair-shop and have such a spoiler will be scrtached in the ramp.
