Best Music Download Sites????

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just wondered where people download there free music from???

I have used Kazaa in the past, but it filled my computer with soooo many bugs I aint using it again!!!

Anyone got any cracking sites with not too much adware???

Cheers

Steve

Free ones without adware are almost impossible to find. I have switched to pay ones, the russian based ones are legal and cheap. Checkout

http://www.mp3search.ru/

http://allofmp3.com

Thats pretty cheap for an album on that allofmp3 site.

What's the sound quality like.

Haven't had any problems on the allofmp3 site and you can choose the file size/quality you want

try www.piratebay.com - you will need to download a program called 'bit torrent' first tho.

Basically just download a bit torrent program (there are a few out there) and install it. The go to www.piratebay.com and search there, then once you find the file you'd like to download (they are good for movies, tv ep's, albums etc..) just click 'download torrent'.

This will load your newly installed 'bit torrent' client and commence downloading.

This isn't legal i must add but its a damn sight better than kazaa or the alike. And the albums are usually CD rips which inc. .jpg of the album covers.

There are many other torrent sites out there but i would recommend the use of piratebay, however a simple google search will im sure show otheres, which will all require the use of a 'bit torrent' client installed.

*Downloading music is illegal and myself, Briskoda.net or its users do not condone the use of downloading pirated material from such sites*

*RIAA can burn in hell however - this is solely my view and not that of briskoda.net or its users*

What bitrate do you choose from allofmp3?

The higher the better. 320k MP3 personally.

What bitrate do you choose from allofmp3?

320kbps for me too. Wouldn't drop to 192 unless it's just for party music or its real old music that the higher bitrate would do no justice to.

Another approach is to have a look on Ebay. I've bought the Top 40 albums and Top 40 compliations in the past for a tenner - purely for "back-up purposes" of course!!

Also got two DVD's with all the Now Thats What I Call Music albums on - just seemed a quick and relatively cheap way to start an MP3 collection.

Limewire is pretty good, although like kazaa and all the rest, is P2P and hence illegal.

I have found it useful in the past though to catch a snippet of a current top40 single, and it has its uses. Good searching options too :)

yeah i use limewire too no probs here

Bit torrent program???? Where can I get one of those from??

I have "seen" emule in use for many years, with no adware or rubbish, and limewire more recently, but only good for singles. Emule being ok to try before you buy albums, * cough.

i use iTUNES but looking at that allofmp3.com site not for much longer
