my centre rear headrest will only move up and down about 1" and I can't remove it. is this normal?

Mine too and it won't sit flush. Guess it's because of the fold down arm rest, and ski hatch (or in my case 2x2" timber from Wickes hatch!) doesn't allow for any great movement.

that makes sense! at least I'm not the only my one! mine was the 'windbreak' hatch today on way to beach
