PD130 Turbo ASZ

Featured Replies

I've got a standard KKK Turbo removed from a 1.9PD Fabia vrs.

The turbo was purchased brand new and fitted on the 12/3/2012 at 111,328 miles.

It was removed on 22/4/2016 at 144,365 miles.

So it's only four years old and has only done around 30,000 miles.

No play in the shaft, no heavy pitting etc, was only removed to fit a PD150 Hybrid.

I'd like £150 + postage.

Anyone know if this would be plug and play on a 110bhp Octavia ASV-code engine?

Are all the fabia vrs engines the same.

Im not sure to be honest, I can look into it though.

No, from around 2004 to 2006 is ASZ and then 2006 + is BLT

I did this swap recently, the answer is no, you'd need to change the lower intercooler pipework and to be frank it's a bit of a faff. If you are looking to upgrade the power then this turbo is a great upgrade but otherwise, don't bother :)

Ah, thanks man that's really helpful. It would have been for a workmate, not me; and he's not the 'upgrade the power' type, so unfortunately this isn't the turbo for him.  Would have been a bargain replacement to wait on the shelf for him if it had been a straight swap.

Thanks for clearing that up :)

I've kept it for a spare myself with it being low mileage and only a few year old. I've got a vrs, my dad has a vrs, my mum has a 1.9 PD golf and we've got a 1.9 PD mk2 Fabia now, so four 1.9PD engines! :D

However, I'm selling it and putting money up and getting a hybrid, then my turbo will be a spare :)
