Had a nice open road, no speed cameras and a warm engine so thought I would let the car go quite fast.

 

At one point I got a warning message to say I had exceeded 100mph on winter tyres.

 

This surprised me as I have the factory fit tyres and didn't realise they were winter tyres.

 

The next time I went quite fast, no warning, so maybe only once per journey.

If you have the 'Winter Tyre Warning set' and you appear to, and set at 100mph it should warn you each time you exceed 100mph.

 

I use that setting as a warning to likely to loose my licence.

& the 'Speed Warnings' at other settings.
