Daylight Driving Lights

Featured Replies

Think I can answer my own question, but would appreciate clarification from other Citigo owners! (this is my stepdaughter's car)

Daylight Driving Lights (DDL) should come on automatically when the lights are set to 'O', correct?

She says they used to, but the right hand side one now doesn't.

I assumed the bulb was gone, but it definitely isn't because when we switch them to Low Beam, both sides come on.

Therefore, I assume one of the DDL fuses has gone (4 or 22)? As I notice low beams have their own fuses.

Let me know if I'm right and I'll order that fuse!

Thanks...

Swap the bulbs over, if it's still blown, it's the fuse, the bulbs are really easy to change

"it definitely isn't".....well, don't be so sure. As langers has hinted, the brighter DRL filament has probably blown but the lower-powered side-light filament lights when headlights are selected - exactly as should happen. Filament DRLs don't seem to last long on these cars which is why I changed to LEDs nearly three years ago - and both still going strong!
