Is it someone who has trouble getting running lights on the caravan that has LED light?

The tail lights on car is on.

I would imagine that the side lights or head lights would need to be switched on for the caravan rear lights to come on - they will not come on with just DRL's

 

Even if the rear lights on the car are coded to be on as DRL's, the wiring in the caravan plug and tow bar will not pick this up unless the lights are actually switched on 

The light on car is switched on, not DRL. The light on caravan flickers and then off. And then light error comes on.
