Errors P2183 & P2185

Had the engine management light appear on my way to work today. Plugged my OBD reader and had two warnings:

P2185 fault

P2183 pending

A little search shows these codes separately towards the coolant temp sensors. Temps for oil and coolant on gauges appear ok (oil around 85-90c depending if I'm sitting in traffic or motorway speeds).

I recently sprayed the car with air con cleaner (Wurth) and been running it on max cold the day before. Could this upset the temp sensors?

If it helps, VRS CR170 diesel, 2011 / 45k miles

Coolant sensor replaced by an Indy for £80, running nicely and no bugging light now :-)

UPDATE: Fixed photo and links 13/01/2013. SAI, N249 and N112 Removal Part 1 Jack car up and place on axle stands.Working from underneath Remove bottom engine shield (4 torx screws) Next unplug SAI sensor (see blue arrow) Remove the 3 x 10mm nuts holding SAI to Bracket(note you may not be able to remove the SAI yet, but might have space) carefully lower SAI and remove the 2 plastic hoses to the SAI before you completely remove SAI. Checked my fabia's sills and there is rust creeping under the paint. I had odd rusty bit that turned out to be stone chip and not deep rust. I discovered thearea just ahead of the rear wheel is susceptible to corrosion. There is a fibre/plastic - tar manufacturer rust protection under paint. I used sharpened wood chisel to remove. The metal flaked. A hole has appeared. The rust has progressed under the sill rather than from above from wheel arch. I've previously used etch primer elsewhere, hig

Hello all. I've owned my current Octavia 1.5tsi dsg SEL estate for around 8 months, now. It's on an 20 plate with fssh, 50k from new. I have a very intermittent screeching noise that seems to be coming from the mid to front end of my car. Occasionally occurs, after the car is fully warmed up, with or without the aircon on, only under heavy load or from a hill start, once moving with my foot down a bit. Hopefully someone has in depth knowledge of the CRLB engine. The problem is oil leaking around the injector seals. Is being pushed through the seals under pressure and onto the top of the camera cover. It seems to me the crankcase is pressuring and forcing oil past the seals in the cam cover. The breather system is rather baffling, with what looks like a breather built into the cam cover. We are asking if any internal breathers can be cleaned or does it require a replacement camera cover. Karoq gearbox doesn't creep?

Hi, I have just bought a 2023 Karoq auto but am disappointed to find the car does not creep to allow for slow movement parking.Yes I know, I should have checked during the test drive. Is there a setting I have missed? I have read we can cause damage to the clutches if we use the brake to "creep". Is that correct? Also, my 12 year old Mercedes auto will hold the car on a hill, perhaps on a queue of traffic, by pressing the HOLD feature but the Karoq will need the Auto stop feature turned on.
