Featured Replies

Where is the cheapest place to buy blank dvds?? Most places seem to cream you on postage. So where do folk on here buy them??

Makro!

Staples or Sainsbury's.

bigpockets.com

Try "arky_25" do a search for him on e-bay....cheapest but with quality i`ve found

Another vote for SVP here.

yep, SVP again

And another for SVP

SVP or BigPockets.

It helps that the BigPockets warehouse is in walking distance from my house though :)

I've used diskdepot.co.uk in the past, dont know if they are cheapest or not, but good service.

what's so good about SVP? They don't seem cheap and their website isn't that great

arky_25 does 50 datawrite 8x DVD-R for 15.98 delivered. That's 32p a pop. A bit pricey but not too bad for branded discs.

Has anyone found a blank Dual layer Disc which will play in their home DVD Player. I've tried 2 or 3 brands with no success. They play ok on the PC but not on my home DVD player.

I tried Verbatim's Dual Layer and didn't have a problem at the time. That was a year ago, and haven't used a DL since, as it isn't worth the extra money

Went for SVP as they had the datasafe (I like theses discs) for a decent price.

The prices are pretty decent though not always the absolute cheapest , but where they really shine is customer service if you ever have a problem with a delivery , or incompatible/faulty disks etc.

They bend over backwards to fix things for you

I recommend

Always been very good and good prices. for type of dvds to buy, I swear by titaniums. They have been fantastic. Virtually indestructible under normal use and not one coaster in over 100 dvd burns. I wont use any other type now
