Megane Scenic 1.6 vvt what they like ?

Was going to replace our Citroen Picasso with a diesel variant but had second thoughts about this now as I have taken out a 53 plate (new shape) Megane Scenic and was very impressed.

Had lots of gadgets like Auto Handbrake, Push button start (Gimmicky I know), rear windows blinds built into the door and leccy windows all round, engine seemed to be on a par with the 1.8 16v Picasso even though it was only a 1.6 16v but I think the VVT helped to smooth the torque curve out so a smooth delivery of power was to be had.

Also the suspension was firm but comfortable which was a nice supprise as the picasso is a little soft in the corners.

Anyone had any dealings with this new model both good or bad before we commit to buying one ?
