have read a bit on this but just wanted to double check before ordering

cars 2002 vrs

if i want to replace arb bushes after taking the plastic collars off the bar i need 17mm bushes rite?

Going with 17mm

Yes 17mm without the collars, 19mm with. I have the SuperPro Poly ones.

You may also require the modified clamps if your originals are old enough, the rubbers have been modified a few years ago. A slightly longer bolt is good for starting to close the clamps down too as they are really stiff when they are new.

Was going to replace the clamps too as they are old so the dealer will have the new ones i presume

i was looking at some on vwspares,you think they would be the newer ones to fit the modified rubbers aswel?

The clamps look about right, but it's difficult to be 100% without having the old ones to compare against. Can you get a torch in the wheel arch to check yours?, as they are noticeably physically different.
