VRS Rear Calipers

Featured Replies

Any one know if all rear calipers are the same on all Mk2s? Will a set from a 2012 FL fit my 2008 Pre-FL?

Complete with carrier if that makes a difference.

Yes all the same. The rear brake set up is a Lucas caliper only. I bought 2 brand new calipers last year (not re-con). The listing was from 2004 till the end of the mk2 vrs. The price I paid was actually cheaper than re-cons at the time.

Thanks. I just bought a new one. I was going to buy a pair from a 2012 that was being broken on eBay but decided just to go new to save the hassle of it potentially not being in any better condition than mine.

I doubt so...there is TRW system (on mine), Bosch I think, at least three different sizes of disc (suppose to be only carrier difference) but you never know. Every Skoda is prototype.

TRW 'red' calipers on mine and I've recently bought 2 brand new ones for mine from brakes international for £166 delivered. Come powder coated red too.
