Haha cheers, will remember that! Wonder how close to an Octavia the pricing is on lease, not that I'd get it given the MPG and that its petrol

Was that the garden centre? Love that place at Christmas!

My understanding is that when the r first came out, the lease companies predicted rock solid residuals, so there were some fantastic deals out there. You just have to look at threads on pistonheads (there's also a thread in there for exactly this thing, parking next to identical cars! I did this week as you have to really, I think its the law).

Those days are over now.

Parked next to a MK3 Race Blue Octavia Estate (but not a vRS) at tesco today.

 

Wish it was possible to start a Poll on this, be interesting to see the popular colours out there on the forum at least

thats why i went for red, see lots VRS's on the road, still always seems rare to see another red one

Also... On the Golf R front. I looked at one and the GTD estate but opted for the VRS, glad I did as the R's are everywhere up here in Glasgow. Like there has been a fire sale! Don't see many GTD estates though, right enough...
