Hello from worcestershire

Featured Replies

Hi guy and gals im new too the forums and to the world of skoda ownership.

I've just recently bought a Octavia Vrs mk2 pd170 and after road testing other cars this stood out the best as always liked the look of them and mixed with the performance it was an easy choice.  Ive owned the car 2 weeks now and although it seeming abit thirsty on diesel im thoroughly enjoying the car and the smile it gives me as it pulls through the gears.

I live near kidderminster so might see some forum members going about if any in the midlands.

Thanks for reading lee.

Hello from Malvern :)

Hi Lee, welcome to the forum. You got yourself a nice example of a MkII vRS there! Great torque in that engine :). Any remap on the cards? With 170 PD it will literally through you back in your seat anyway so probably won't even need it.

Cheers guys for the welcome. And yes superb170 theres definitely some torque in that engine its all or nothing lol i love it. But the plan is to run it for couple months to make sure its all good then im thinking rear arb upgrade as she feels like she wants to drag her ass through the corners so hoping that will stiffen it up.  Then probably just go for a stage one remap to smooth out the acceleration and fuel without risk of blowing turbos.

Welcome over dude glad to see your enjoying my 2 ownership. Based in worcs but regularly driving all over Midlands for work so will keep an eye out (although may be in my lil green 206 n not my octy at times)!
