From Seat to Skoda

Featured Replies

My trusty 2003 Leon Cupra had a complete gearbox failure after 157,000 miles and I've just replaced it with a 2006 VRS Estate (petrol).

It's had a Revo Stage 1 remap back in 2012 with figures of 235BHP and an EVOMS Air Intake Kit plus "OEM Latest Edition Diverter Valve" and a Milltek Cat Back Non-Res.

I've only done about 50 miles in her so far, but I love it already. It's mega comfy compared to the Leon and has plenty of power when needed.

Cheers

Sounds lovely. The 2.0 tfsi engine is a lot nicer than the old 1.8t imo. Sound a bit nicer and lovely power delivery. I swapped the other way round last year. Octavia vrs tdi to Seat Leon fr petrol. To be honest, handling wise the Leon is streets ahead of the Octavia but harsh suspension is an understatement!! I miss the comfort of my old Skoda. I'll be looking at remapping the Leon soon. After Shark mapped my old diesel the car was transformed.
