Ferrari Enzo or Fabia vRS?

Featured Replies

Well I'm very pleased to say that I made the right choice when I decided to buy a Fabia vRS rather than the Ferrari Enzo I was thinking of having. On the Skoda site you can compare your car with any other car, and the Fabia vRS came out like this -

Your Skoda Fabia vRS 1.9 TDI PD 130bhp 5dr hatchback '05 has the following advantages over the Ferrari Enzo - 2dr coupe '03:

Exterior

Full size spare wheel

Bodyside protective moulding

Electrically operated front windows

Front fog lights

Heated door mirrors

High level third brake light

High mount brake light

Rear wash/wipe

Roof mounted aerial

Interior

Cigarette lighter

Front cup holders

Front reading light

Folding rear seat with 60/40 asymmetric split

Height adjustable driver's seat

Height adjustable front head restraints

Height adjustable rear head restraints

Audio player includes AM/FM radio

Audio player includes in-dash CD

8 Speakers

Third 3 point rear seatbelt

Performance

402.0 g/km lower carbon dioxide level

:rofl: :rofl: :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I would of thought, 3 extra seats and proper boot would of been mentioned above :)

A useful comparison. But how does it stack up against the Veyron? ;) :P

Is there anyone out there that knows of a better car than a Fabia vRS?

Pricing

Bodywork

0.04cd lower coefficient of drag

Well I never, the Fabia creates less drag than an SLR

The Benz boffins should head over to see the Czechs about how to build a car properly!

I'm not familiar with that one. Is a Veyron a Vauxhall (like Viva, Ventura, Victor, Vectra)?

I guess they may have done that already, after reading the Top Gear survey results where I believe Mercedes came in just below Trabant

As the Skoda site does not list this vehicle for comparison, I will assume that they accept it may indeed be near enough equal, or even very slightly superior, to a Fabia. :(

I concur! ;)

 Congratulations on your now proven excellent choice of vehicle (and colour).

4 cylinder engine

Not quite sure how this represents an advantage over the SLR

Less to go wrong! :D

I'm shocked about the drag value of the Merc tho, the Fabia doesn't exactly have a good shape to cut through the air (esp 3 digits+ it really, really slows it down).

You tried comparing against an Octavia as well, dunno if it lets you, but if not, compare that against the same Merc, see how that fares :)

The best drag quote from the past is that the old Austin A40 (yes I am that old!) had a lower drag co-eff than the Jag E-Type!!!

I'd love the Veyron to cost about 14k GBP :D - somehow I doubt that will happen though

please stop it I cant' stop laughing.

that is soo funny.

how funny is the skoda comparison page. im sat at work and just laughing to myself and no-one else knows why.

how about taking the fabia vrs on against the Octavia VRS which would win? can you do it.

Skoda have a good point though. the skod's are far superior to the Veyron!

Good point!

 - To make it fair, I'd also do one the 'other way around'. Advantages I'm expecting are more room for passengers, as well as boot space :)
Is this the new Fabia?!

nope thats the new "rover veyron" i think its taking over from the old SD1's
