Hi guys

My drivers side headlight has dropped dramatically, the high beam and low beam are right down compared to the passenger side, wondering if any of yous can help me solve it? Tried adjusting on the screws but they don't adjust enough, hoping its an easy fix as these are expensive to replace for genuine items

The inside unit is held in place by 3 points.

The motor at the bottom that adjusts inside the car and the two manual adjusters at the top.

Sometimes the top adjusters come away from the housing as its only rubber, see if you can get hold of the inside where the bulb is and move it around.

Also see if the projector has come loose.

I've fixed plenty now!

Do I need to take the headlight out? Just there's very little room to get my hand in the back

It will need removing then yeah, might be possible for you to attach it back on the adjusters if they haven't broken.

Remember if they are genuine Xenons they need to be set with VCDS. Turning the adjusters without it being in setting mode can damage them.

Yeah they're genuine demons, the rubber had come off the plastic holder, just desperate to get it back to normal as I'm working away, hardest part about outing back together I've found is the sides of the bumper closest to the wheel they just won't seem to go in both sides, just the last clip

I don't know why my phone makes me look an idiot changing my words *xenons* not demons haha , doesn't matter about the bumper I'm just being thick as per

If it's more than refurbishment there is a guide on splitting them.

Guys while your on the subject, ive just bought my vrs and it has what looks like aftermarket xenons fitted. Did they fit them standard at all?

Yes, Xenons was an optional extra, which also came with headlight washers in the front bumper.

Cool mate, mines dont have washers so must be aftermarket. Thanks
