Featured Replies

hehe was gonna reccomend Martin ;) was worried if it was an intermittent prob it might be wasted journey, maybe an uprated NJ75 to go with the remap will help?!?! sounds like its overboosting then cutting back...

let us know how you get on and good luck with the new car search... :D

if the RR shows any drop in performance than i can show the garage the print out and ask them to sort it...again!!!

jim in star performance advised me to change the N75,which i did but it hasnt helped,in fact its worse!!!

am maybe thinking about a fabia VRS.....but to be honest i dont know!!! all i want at the moment is a car that works:(

hmm what about a new Octavia Tour vRS Combi, 6K lees than the newer model?!?!

according to skoda.ie they're still available I think

BTW did you just replace the the NJ75 with a standard valve or did you uprate it?

Im not 100% on which verison to use but AFAIK there are a couple of options.. H, J etc

spoke to jim at star and he said not to uprate it as they only make it worse!! so just replaced with the same as what was in it,a "j" i think it is. Havent thought about a combi, will have a look into it,BPM has a nice one!!!...car that is!!!:)

Since i got the car its had a new clutch, two airflow meters, new ECU and a new N75!!! and ive only had the car a year!!!

kit:)

hehe good going alright,

Ive just had a new gearbox, clutch and drivers seat cover ;)

I ran an A4 Avant 1.9TDi Sport for 3.5 years and 90k. Great car, ver reliable, only thing needed other than servicing was front disks and pads and a clutch at 85k!
