Columbus coding

Featured Replies

I have just fitted a columbus stereo and the heater control's no longer display on the screen.

Would some kind person help me sort this out....

And the temp not being on screen is a real pain!!!

Got an autoscan? It's probably the BAP/DDP setting.

Do you mean the outside temp isn't being displayed? In which case that's normal :-)

If your Octavia is pre facelift then the heater control display is lost when switching to a Columbus, the only only way around it is to also retrofit the facelift climate control module which is quiet difficult because the wiring is different.

Mine is one of the last pre facelift.I didn't need to change gateway ect for columbus, just plug and play.

I was hoping that i wouldn't need to change heater control's as i would need another new fascia.

Is the temp displayed on the Maxidot? that is my next retrofit.
