Blackline Phone Mic

Featured Replies

I know this has probably been covered to death but I can't find the info I need in search.

Does anyone have the part number for the phone mic for a MY62 Octy VRS BLACKLINE?

Is there a decent fitting guide anywhere someone could link me to?

Thanks guys!

The link in that thread to buy the microphone says this:

For vehicles from 2012 model year the 7P6035730 or similar hands free system needs to be used.

That's why I thought I'd found the part number but then saw yours is a MY62.

However, as Eddie is the master at this kind of stuff then I'd go with what he says.

The blackline came with an Amundsen+ (RNS-315) fitted as standard. Most (if not all) have bluetooth built into the Amundsen+ so it just needs a microphone adding then coding via VCDS. Makes it a very cheap mod!

No need to add a separate BT module unless the MAC address on the Amundsen+ is all zeroes.

I also think the OP car is a '62 plate, so probably a MY13. We won't have MY62 cars for another 46 years ;)

I knew what I meant. ;)
