Has anyone fitted a Tomtom the area shown in my picture? if so could you post picks or pm me with some details please?

I had a thought about fitting a android tab in there. When i get chance I might have another think. Be nice to get it to fold down as you close the lid and pop up as u open it.

Someone did one with a permanent power source that folded away when not in use. Can't remember who it was but was really well done.

Now I love that idea, it's wasted in my car at the minute apart from when I take my watch and ring off to go riding.

I usually just prop my phone up in that bit for SatNav etc.

There is definitely a thread showing this done - very neatly too. As Planehazza said, I just put my phone in there, in landscape mode for use as a sat-nav. Cubby hole usually houses my driving glasses.

Thanks all.  I have a sat nav which i use over my phone so this is why i was thinking about doing this.  Will check these threads out and let people know :-)

One good reason you should all keep hold of your MkII's, Skoda have done away with this brilliant cubby hole on the MkIII, booo!
