My 40k miles Elegance DSG has an intermittent problem.

When it has been standing in the warm sun for a while (2 hrs or so) the aircon will not cut in.

However, after a few miles driving, presumably as something cools down, it starts to work again.

The VW dealer has already replaced the blower fan 2 months ago and that seemed to solve the problem, but now it's back.

Any ideas, it's under warranty but tips on what to look for might help the garage!!

Turned out to be a faulty connection block behind the dashboard! All sorted

Yes it was, the garage picked it up on their diagnostics
