MOT Man & Roomster

Featured Replies

Had the MOT done on the Roomster last week. The man who usually does the mot's was not there, his mate said, yes he's away this week in his "ROOMSTER". He said, when he did the mot last year, he was so impressed with my Roomster he went and purchased one himself. Anyone else have anything like that happen. :sun:

Sort of....was parked up in Hartshead Moor eastbound services last week, nipped in for a pee, got back to car, chap in next bay having a snack, in elderly Citroen Xsara, got chatting, he kept bees and said the Roomster looked ideal for moving hives etc around. Opened the boot and back doors, showed him how spacious, and removable seats.

He was originally from Bristol, but now living at York, turns out he was en route home from collecting the Xsara bought used from Preston, to replace one owned from new that was comprehensively written off several months previously in a 70mph dual-c'way collision whereby an overseas-registered artic driver decided to do a U-turn at very short range, the Police were amazed that this chap survived the crash, no bonnet length left, roof heavily creased, multiple injuries from which he was still recovering.................Wow!

Hope he got home safely, maybe he'll get a Roomster at some point!

Is anyone else waving at / giving thumb up to fellow Roomster drivers, after all they're limited availability, future classic, collectable!

Been into town in mine today, VERY glad of the AirCon!  And just passed 700miles since tank full, c 150 supposedly to go.

Gotta get this airbag fault sorted (warning light on again ), MOT due mid-August......
