Back to the Fab life

I'm thinking about getting them machined tbh, how much mm did you get machined off and what sort of price were you paying for that? Cheers!

Sorry, i worded it wrong.

I only test fitted them and wasnt very happy how they sat, imo 8J is going to be the best fit 9J was just a little bit to wide to have on a daily driver car.

I would of had to machine them and the adaptors to make them fit and even then i dont think i would have liked it, Porsche twists didnt look as good as i hoped on the mk2 so wasnt worth the effort.

Rolling the arches and fitting rear mud flaps help since the genuine mud flaps are huge anyway!

I have ordered some Eibach Camber Shims for the rear and these arch kit.

Not entirely sure how it's going to look to be honest, but i reckon i can make something work.

Hmm not sure how they will look on a black Fabia. Might work well with the rear diffuser being the same colour.

Well they're cheaper than what a ticket will be from the police with the amount of poke i have so hopefully i will try and make something of them :)

Soooo, coming the next few months are:

- Front splitter

- Honey comb grill to match the bumper

- Smoothed bumper

- Diffuser sprayed gloss black

- Paint calipers repained (matt purple) i think.

So i only went & done it.

Fifteen52 turbomacs purchased. I've left the rear camber shims on as tbh i can't be bothered to remove them lol.

The car will likely see the rear adjusters out of the coilovers over the next coming months. I'm not too bothered at the moment as it's winter and the weather is horrendous so 0 motivation to do anything on the car.

17's were hard enough to come by, especially in 5x100.

Thank you mate. I wasn't sure going into it myself, but they've really grown on me and i have never seen a set on a MK2 before. :D

Besides, couldn't look any worse than them XXRs haha.
