What do I adjust inside the light to flatten the beam pattern for driving abroad?

If it's of any help, after travelling around Spain and France, I kept my headlights on the 'flat' setting upon my return to the UK. Car has gone through 3 MOTs since then with no issues.

Up until recently I was doing a considerable amount of night driving on various types of roads, again with no issues.

That's good info.........my lamp is a bit different I think, going to have another look tonight.

Use a small flat screwdriver and move the lever in circle a bit to the right. It doesn't move much, just about 4-5mm but you should feel when it's done. Some on the other headlamp but the lever will move other way.
