Wheel Alignment Question

Featured Replies

The thing is that many many right hand drive Mk2 vRS / Monte Carlo on 205/40 R17 directional tyres drive perfectly well.

They just need aligned correctly at the factory or since.

Skoda UK were happy enough eventually to change to Pirelli tyres to disguise Pulling to the left.

Not a proper Motor Vehicle engineering solution, just their idea of an easy fix.

All but a Rizla paper straight now :-)

Oh dear. How did that happen? Surely not when the alignment was being done?!

No, was in for service and their customer reversed into it :-(

I recommend you borrow some wheels that are not directional tyres & see what happens

Mine used to do this I would say your alignment is spot on!

The issue is your tyres!!!! What you running ?

For some reason the car doesn't like rotational tyres I swapped mine for some Uniroyals which are inside/outside the steering wheel sits straight and no longer pulls left

I am running Toyo T1R's which are much quieter than the original Dunlops, it does still slightly pull left, will be interesting next time to try non rotational tyres and see if any different, thanks for the tip :-)
