I know this has a few mentions already but I am in need of some help. The front end is creaking when I turn at slow speeds and when I am pulling off. I have had the wishbone bushes changed last year and I changed the dogbone and the droplinks this week but it still creaks. Any other ideas ?

Have you checked the springs for breaks?

Heat shields behind the discs can be bent and make contact with the lower ball joint.

This has symptoms like you are describing. 

Thanks for the quick replies. Yeh I have checked the springs and they are all good. 1 heat shield is in good condition the other cracked but not hitting anything. The noise is so frustrating.

Strut top mounts drying out.

That was the fault with mine, warm weather seemed to make them noisier.

Did you change them or grease them up?

Got them changed. Though you could try some silicone grease first, see if it helps.

Possible anti-roll bar bushes.

If it's when turning I'd be looking at arb bushes, ball joints and top mounts.

Apologies I have done the anti roll bar bushes too. So top mounts seems to be sticking out.

I have some creaking when going over some bumps too. Top mounts and ball joints?

Impossible to say over the Internet, it's just guess work.

I will do the top mounts and ball joints and track rod ends and will let you know the results after each one.

Hey kevo, did you get your creaking sorted ? I had creaking exact decription as yours and I fixed it for for zero pennies. I amazed myself. Try this, it takes less tha minute to do. 1 pop bonnet, 2 remove dipstick and dab a bit of oil on your fingertip. 3 smear the oil on the rubbers on the underside of you bonnet( one either side) hope this works mate.

I'm awaiting the arrival of the parts. Yeh I removed those pesky rubber bits but will put them back on with a bit of oil. Will keep everyone updated. Thanks
