Hi, I bought a 2016 Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0 TDI (EA288 CUNA) about a month ago. It has 260,000 km on the clock, which is quite a lot, but the car has been properly serviced. Before buying it, I had a full pre-purchase inspection done and no issues were found. I also recently passed an MOT without any problems. What it says on the tin, really; recently my oil warning light came on, flashed a few times, made a really loud intermittent beeping sound, and then turned off again. This happened several times during a journey, but actually stopped after a little while. I checked the oil level, and its fine, so I reckon it's an issue with the oil pressure sensor/switch (I did get an OBD tool, but that came up as no error codes, so I'm really in the dark here). First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. I already had a lot of help to fix broken gear selector - thanks! I also found that the passenger side front suspension spring has broken - so I'm off to the garage for that!
