All these brands make anti roll bars for the octavia, H&R would match up with your springs but whiteline have very good reviews.

Be aware that Whiteline tends to squeak after a few months, well mine does... :(

ok thanks for advice.  do they make a difference with respect to better handling and lest understeer.

On a FWD car with a tendency to understeer they make a huge difference, must do mod to improve the handling of pretty much any "sporty" FWD car really...

Is the ride much different with the H & R springs???   Contemplating springs on my wife's VRS but was probably going to go Eibachs'.

mine squeaked at first - i took it back, they adjusted the brackets a bit, slapped on some more grease and its been fine ever since.

I had read on here about applying grease but have been too lazy to get it up on ramps. I have some silcone spray so may give that a go.

 

TBH it seems to only does it on slow turns so it's not that much of a problem.

I've got an H&R on mine, the bushes come with Teflon inserts so no squeeking .

Flatter cornering, less understeer, and no difference to comfort. I'd definately recommend one!

Would you go 24mm or 22mm.

I recommend the 034 Motorsports rear sway bar, I had one on my RS3 8P, the brackets are very beefy CNC alu jobs with grease nipples on them so regreasing is a doddle, great bar, I'll be ordering one for my "new" 11 plate VRS CR170

Mines a 24mm and I have it on the less stiff setting, the part number's

is it easy to change the front or is it a subframe off job?

Haven't a clue yet but will find out at the weekend.

Got Eibach frnt and rears fitted, super happy.

what were they like to fit?

Rear is a doddle, front not so much, need to drop the subframe & ideally need to replace a load of stretch bolts that are undone while dropping the subframe (if you don't you can get alignment issues), then really need to have the alignment checked.

ok.  when i brought the arbs i was only after the rear and was going to sell the front on, what are your thoughts?

what were they like to fit?

Had a garage do it, together with a WALK and B12 kit. So no idea, took them less that half a day tho (+realignment), so nothing very hard I suppose.

I've got an Eibach front ARB I want rid of if anyone wants it
