2015 Toyota Prado

Featured Replies

Petrol auto, seats 7, but 2 are kids only. Totally unsuitable for my current 3 times daily 10 mile roundtrip commute(much like a school run and trip to the shops or spa I guess) Its slow, thirsty and the A/C isn't up to the local climate. Clunky switchgear too. However, it's a Toyota so you'll have 20-30 years to get used to it's character 'cos it won't break.

Strangely it seems to be one of the most popular motors on the road around here.

I noticed it takes forever to fill up - I now find out it has a 150 litre tank.

OMG !

Toyota breaks down!

Either it has an electrical fault or the 2 mile trips from cold with aircon etc on are having a negative net effect on battery charge.

Either way I've had to jump it twice in the last 3 days - now it has a new battery we'll see how it goes.

None of our other Prado's have this issue.

Have you thought about changing it for a Skoda Yeti    or a Kodiaq when it comes out ?    :D  :D  :D  :D

Fuel tank may be smaller but you will most likely get better than 2 lamp posts to the gallon ;)

Change it (or them - I have 3)?

It's a free company car with free fuel free insurance and free servicing.

I don't think I'd change that deal.

I think 3 Prados is a better deal than the 2 GMC Yukons we had before, the 3 use less juice in total than the 2 yanks did -lol.

FFS!

Another dead Prado. Thought it was battery but looks like total ECU failure.

Not in the Hilux league of indestructability at all.

They don't build 'em like they used to! :D
