JCB in Portslade

Featured Replies

I notice that a JCB garage in Portslade near me has started offering servicing etc. for Skodas. I gather they count as a main dealer in that way although I don't think they sell Skodas.

Has anyone in my part of the world used them for regular servicing yet?

(Not very good customer reviews so far !!)

I cannot provide any direct feedback on the Portslade branch of JCB but I can tell you that when they took over the running of SKODA Worthing I have been very impressed with the maintenance work they have completed on my Octavia Mk 3.

The service reception and parts staff are much better than the previous owners.

My car is yet to have its first service but they have performed a repair of a wing mirror and didn't even try to tell me I needed a new one and later performed a holiday check covering many items in a normal service at a very low price.

JCB have a number of garages with main dealer franchises for VW, SKODA and other makes.

They even have an owners club run out of their head office which has special offers.

I hope this feedback is of some help.

I have used the West Worthing Skoda dealers for quite a time (bought my last 2 Octavias new from them) and I also find them very good.

I suppose it depends on the individuals you are dealing with.

It is just that the new JCB lot are literally just up the road from me.

Still, I'm quite happy to drive over to Palatine Road!!
