Hi, just picked up a new Superb (150 DSG SEL, in Cappuccino) today so thought it was time to introduce myself.

 

 

My car heritage is a bit eclectic, including Saab, Volvo, Mercedes, various VW's, including a Phaeton at one stage, a couple of Lotus', Rover and Seat. Once many moons ago, I also had a Skoda 130 Coupe, times have changed!  Most recently, and just traded in for the Superb was an early Jaguar XE.

 

Let me tell you, hands down, the Skoda is a much better car in all respects (except perhaps its ability to get around the Nurburgring).  Interior fit and finish, panel gaps, Infotainment system, seat comfort, ride quality.  All significantly better in the Czech built car.

Welcome to the forum & community and welcome back to SKODA. If you have drive selection, try sport, it tightens up the steering; it's all electrical magic, and that somehow makes the car feel much better to drive.  But you can't beat the laws of physics it's a big car. What tyres did it ship with, that plays a huge part, my wifes focus has just been destroyed by lease co with some ditch finders on the rears.

 

As to photo upside down, I'm guessing it's a phone/tablet photo?. Mine does this when I take the pic upside down, the camera displays it ok, then anywhere else it's upside down. Rotate it on the device if you can. Then attach again.

 

Or upload it to the gallery, you can rotate it there, then include into your posts via the My Media button in the reply editor.

Delivered with Continental tyres, which have served me well in the past. Running in right now so not ready to explore the sporty options, but I am sure it will be more than adequate.

Weird thing about the photo is that it uploaded fine in the Superb111 picture forum, and the gallery. Just upside down here.

Welcome to Briskoda.  It looks really well and cappuccino suits the Superb.  Things have certainly moved on since the days of the 130
