Wheels and tyres help

Featured Replies

Hello,

Just seen some lovely 14"x 6" rims for sale that don't have tyres and I can't seem to find tyres that will fit that won't dramatically change the rolling radius and thus the speedo? IS this a problem or is there an easy way around it.

They have an offset of 33 if that helps. They look to fit on "willtheyfit.com" - says they will be 7.7 mm closer to the suspension components and poke out 17.7 mm more than stock.

My stock ones are 13" x 5" I think

Any help would be great!

Thanks

I'm sure 185/60/14 tyres were a standard tyre size on some Felicias.

Certainly 185/60R14s were regularly used as a "inch up" fitting on cars with 155 or 165R13 back in the 1980s, exactly because you more or less retain the rolling radius.

Skoda recommends using 175/60 R14 78 T tyres on 5 1/2 J x 14 H2 ET 38 rims as upper limit. Probably they know better why.

Unfortunately I didn't win them. They were Baby Borbet A's :(

I can see some polo GTI bbs rims for sale near me but they are no way near as cool :'(

Not sure what to do now.
