hi i,m looking a tow bar for my 05 4x4 estate, i have looked on ebay and there are loads but some seam very cheap. my question is are they worth taking a punt on. thanks

Up to you but try and get one from a well known maker like Thule or Westfalia. Buy the best you can and make sure if you go for the cheaper one that it is type approved, ask the seller if needs be.

think your right i see the westfalia one for little over £100

Spending extra on the dedicated electrics is worth every penny. I have the Westfalia detachable and really rate them but get what suits your needs. PH Jones do some good deals and are very helpful if you give them a call.
