water pump replacement

Featured Replies

I had a slight leak coming from behind the water pump pulley last week but it seems to have stopped now I have brought a new waterpump. I dunno if previous owner had put some stuff in it to seal the leak and when I topped up coolant it's sealed again. But I'm gonna have a go at doin the water pump tomorrow and was wondering what size sockets, spammers and torx sockets I will need. Ive read this guide on here http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/215800-water-pump-replacement/

Perhaps think about replacing the cam belt at the same time seeming as you're taking it all off to get to the water pump off.
