We've got a 7 year old VRS LE. Wondering about some improvements, particularly to the head unit / possibility of adding Bluetooth. Does anyone have any suggestions for going about this? Would ideally be looking at OEM+ improvements, just unsure of where to start. Would be nice to have DAB ability, plus Bluetooth for making/receiving calls. Not so bothered about sat nav, but if anyone knows how to get the likes of Apple Carplay into a car of this age, do fire ahead. 

 

It's currently got its original Bolero system with the touch screen.

If you don't have a Bluetooth module fitted, then a Fiscon module is a plug and play solution. Which model depends on whether you have Maxidot.

Thanks both. Are these upgrades simple to do or would they require dealer sourcing/fitting etc?

Columbus is a simple upgrade (physically) with a bit of computer coding to make it work correctly. Bluetooth the same really, with a little more physical work to wire the unit and microphone into position. Both are just plug in and coding though.
