Are BLT & ASZ Alternators different?

My Alternator bearings are starting to go so I'm looking for a new replacement one. My engine is an ASZ (2003 VRS)

 

Eurocarparts have an Lucas Alternator for £118 but it states that its for a BLT engine. Is the ASZ ones different?

Interchangeable, as far as I can see.  On this page of alternator versions, wherever it says ASZ, it says BLT too. I initially tried the same page for a 2003 car, but of course, BLT engines weren't being fitted to Fabias then, so there weren't any listed.

Thanks for that. I couldnt see why they would be different but wanted to be sure.

Try Skoda for different parts numbers between ASZ and BLT alternators ?
