Delivery delays - compensations

Hi,

I am currently waiting for my car to be built and delivered and the dealer has already announced severe delays compared to what they had been promising. I reckon I am not the first one. So... has anyone been able to get anything worth mentioning as a compensation in these situations? I do not expect any legally enforceable stuff, I bet the dealer has this covered in the smallprint. I am rather after goodies like discount on future service, small accessory items and such. Any experience?

I, being a really unpleasant jerk when need be, have been able to get another vehicle for free to use in the interim but since the delayed delivery has screwed up my taxes I would like to get a wee bit more than that.
