Electrical issues

Featured Replies

I've experience a few glitches.Im positive and being handled well by dealer.Going back for three days on the 1st of Sept.

My issue are as follows- Boot open by itself at traffic lights twice.

Transmission hopes into sport mode by itself- 3 occasions

refused to start once and gearbox sign came up then immobiliser sign as well.

It restarted later.

Electric seat moves position after opening doors.

Navagation system freezes upon start up.

Parkpilot stays on on start up as well.

Yesterday I parked outside my sons work.I placed in park and car was off.

It restarted 5 minutes later and turned off by itself 3 times.

I have videoed and photo graphed most stuff.

It also would not move in drive on one Occassion after stopping at intersection.

Ironically I love this car and its seating and phone system ,chassis and midrange and handling.

Anyone got any issues -mines done 12000km or 7000 mile -using lots of adblue.

I'm positive, not bitter just curious.

A few of us have had a couple of electrical gremlins, including the phantom boot issue and random error messages. Nothing like as bad as that, though! Good luck getting them resolved mate, that takes the Mick on a new car. Hopefully it's a faulty module or a broken wire or something easily remedied.
