Jacking points for trolley jack and axle stands

Featured Replies

In preparation for getting my new car and swapping wheels around, where are the correct points for jacking using a trolley jack, anyone have an image or photos?

Many posts on this subject - do a search.

What are you swapping your wheels from and to?

from the standard 18" to a set of 16" alloys with winter tires each winter and back in the spring

Cool, asked because I thought you might be putting on some larger alloys. I am obsessed by wheels at the moment so keen to know what people are doing on their Superbs :D

Probably wrong but when I change the summer/winter wheels (twice since new) I use a trolley jack protected by a wood insert on the normal jacking points which are obvious to the untrained eye if you look along the sill.

Take a look here :-)

cheers for the images, similar to my old Mondeo then, I'll use my hockey puck with the trolley jack.
