I currently have an old 03 plate Fabia Elegance 1.9 pd100.

 

To cut a long story short, the vehicle has to be in the scrappers for thursday.

 

As the price of scrap is abysmal atm, I'm looking for anything valuable/sellable I can strip out before I drop the car off there.

 

It has heated seats, had a quick look online for some for sale as i understand they are fairly rare but can't find any. Is this a good thing?

 

Anything you can recommend?  Alloys, cat, possibly the seats/switches/loom?

Seats/switches/loom for heated seats are valuable as far as I'm aware.

 

CD Player might be worth a few quid. Alloys definitely. Small bits like heater vents etc. may also be of use to someone.

 

If I'm scrapping a car, I'll also keep useful bits, like screws, fuses, relays etc.

 

Cut out the seatbelts as well, they make fantastic straps to tie things together etc.

Anything u can strip is worth something, I got rid of the wheels, battery, lights, glovebox etc.

Does it have electric rear windows? They are worth good money.

Glass.

Doddle to remove sides. And cheese wire front and rear. Front screen is real easy after scuttle is removed.

Injectors, engine cover, rocker cover, PAS pump, wheels, seats, any decent body panels inc doors.
