Superb 11 wiper problem please help

Featured Replies

Hi, this ishould my first post so please be gentle, after not using my car for over a week I got into it this morning to find the front wipers not working, there was ano intermittent noise coming from the motor as if it was trying but nothing happening after reading previous threads thought it would likely be the motor so I've replaced motor and assembly but to no avail .. has anyone else experienced this some help would be greatly appreciated I'm thinking my next step will be the wiper stalk but have been told I will need to remove steering wheel which I don't fancy doing is this essential ?

Are they not working on any speed?

Linkage is fine I fitted new linkage today along with motor, I will will get scanned for fault codes tmw thanks, don't really want to throw any more money away, don't know what plus 1 somewhere means any other thoughts in the meantime would be great, forgot to mention I had vault meter on plug going to motor and I had voltage there.

"Plus one" or  "+1" just means "I agree".

Just emailing follow up incase anyone has same fault occur, after having it plugged in a permanent live fault was found , it then had to go to auto electrician for further investigation ,ended up having the live bypassed to save dash being disturbed and potentially hundreds spent to find cause, everything seems up to now to be working as it should, thanks for your input.
