Spy shots face lift

Featured Replies

Not keen on the black and white stuff going on but I would have one just to be different.

That one is certainly down on its haunches so Skoda can actually make them lower and not like they are on stilts.

& narrow wheels / tyres on that one.

Hopefully not just full of test equipment or ballast but actually a new Hot Combi is on its way.

Or even a Hybrid with part time rear wheel drive.

Wishful thinking there.

Isn't this a bit early for face lifts?! I still haven't picked mine up yet! Bit annoying.

Me too! Don't get mine for a two or three weeks yet, it's not yet in the country. The 1.0 litre engine sounds interesting. But it would need to put out 110ps to make me happy. I note that SEAT has the 1.0 litre engine in 95ps format. Absolutely no doubt it will go to 110ps plus without an issue, but will they?

Facelifts and some getting new engines seems about it for Skoda.

Octavia, Fabia and an ickle bit for the Citigo.

All their hopes and dreams seem to be on the Kodiaq as VW make sure there is nothing even slightly sporting competing for sales of VW / Audi / Seat.

Medium and large family / taxi size cars seems about it for now.

Even dropping some they produced this year in limited numbers, ie vRS 230 or vRS 4x4 Octavia.

Maybe they will get  R / GTI Clubsport / Cupra type power that only the Superb gets now.

I didn't see any variance on Fabia.

Why do Skoda have a rally car but not a road going version?

That looks remarkably like a  car I saw in Newport Pagnell on Tuesday afternoon.........

I had a 1.0 110ps 7speed DSG Polo SEL for a courtesy car and I have to say that it was glorious even if the fuel consumption wasn't!
