Cruise control !steering column ECU replacement ?

Featured Replies

Hi

Ok here we go, I have fitted the cruise stalk and found the steering column ecu is a low line, not good! My friendly Skoda dealer has told me I need a 1K0953549CC , at £200 plus vat ! Old part number is 1KO 953 549 BT . I have found found two on the web used ones 1k0953549F, 1ko953549CH, according to Ross tech one is a highline and one a midline. However Skoda say they won't work , what do you think?

No need to make duplicate threads, assuming the currently fitted one is a BT rev, then a CH rev should be OK.

It will need coding to your car after fitting and ideally you should get a VCDS autoscan (or equivalent) before any work commences to get the current coding etc.
