What is missing ?

Featured Replies

My other half has recently bought a 13 plate Yeti 1.2 tsi S. Under the boot is the compressor and bottle of gunk for repairing the tyre.

From what I can make out one of them is the towing eye but I'm not sure if that's meant to come with the car or only if you buy the spare tyre a jack set.

There are a couple of other slots indents in the foam insert

Is there anything else missing?

I've tried to put a link to photo below

I'll get her to call. The Skoda garage where she bought it tomorrow to see if they can do anything otherwise I'll get one from a breakers yard or ebay

Thanks guys wasn't sure if something was supposed to be in the slot to the right of the circular ring hooks and below the secure wheel nut key

Wheel nut cover remover (if you have covers on the wheel nuts) looks like this .

These are the wheel-nut cover removing tweezers that fit just below the security wheel nut key. Only a couple of £.

They look simple but work remarkably well, you'll probably damage the wheel paint if using anything else.

That is the tool to remove wheel covers if alloys are not fitted and the trim below the fog lights, you'll probably damage the wheels if used to remove the wheel nut covers.

The metal ring with hook is used to remove the fog light trim .

Yes, the cheaper ones probably come from China.

Mine had these missing I called in at the dealers and they "found them" in the polystyrene

storage! despite the fact I had already searched it carefully.

Funny you should say that, I was putting bits in my new Yeti today and found the exact same thing just sat in one of the storage boxes, I removed the spare wheel and put it where it should have been in the first place!

I know the metal wire hook is also found in the VW Touran. It is used for removing the real light cluster.

My towing eye was missing, I noticed after two years it was missing,  so when the car went in for a service I said should I have one they said yes they would supply it, and they did. I think what happens when they check over a car on the PDI check and find it has the eye missing they take one from a showroom vehicle, then it has a knock on effect. When I used to be in the trade we used to do this with jacks and tool kits. but when we ordered a new kit for the showroom car it had been sold so we ended up the jack still in stores and forgot what car it was for..
