New and so far, very happy owner here.

I'd previously run an Octavia III Elegance tdi as a company car, very plush inside, pretty quick and pretty to look at (I thought). But being a car nut it was always a nearly but not quite experience.

So with a new job and option for car allowance, I had to indulge my desire and go shopping for a vRS...

Bought myself a 64-plate 2.0tdi Octavia vRS in Metal Grey that first owner has specced up lovely for me. Black pack, Amundsen satnav and 19" Extreme wheels. Thanks for taking the hit, first owner.

I do a lot of miles as I'm in construction, already added 6k miles since June and I'm loving them all. At least the ones since I had the wheel bearing replaced under warranty (I went to the dealer armed with advice I'd seen here on Briskoda and came away with a pleasant experience and a silent wheel).

Hi Ben, welcome along!  Glad to hear forum advice helped you with your bearing issue.  Nice to get a used car with all the spec you need as there is usually some compromise.
