Tyre Wear

Apologies if this has already been covered, but a quick search didn't find anything.

Had reason to have a puncture repaired last week and tyre place gave me the usual staus report on all tyres.

Tyres are : Dunlop Sportmaxx 215/45/16, running at about 2.2bar.

Miles since new is 9000, or very close.

Tread depth is same on each tyre : 6mm

Whilst I don't go in for dragster starts, I do like to "make good progress" and will happily give the car it's head once rolling. Just thinking that the tyre wear, so far, bodes well for decent mileage from the rubber bits...povided only that the roads of this fair county don't destroy them first, (first casualty was at 25 miles from new in a very nasty pothole disguised by being full of wet leaves. Bummer, but Skoda Recovery were brilliant...actually Audi Recovery which made me smile).

Anyone care to comment on life to be expected from Fabia III tyres, of variius sizes/makes?
